Synopsis

A Lola is soon returning home to Paris after a year of research in Vancouver. Spending long hours in the sterile laboratory environment, her observations wander to the world outside, both real and imagined. Her solitude in the lab is only broken by Bernard, formerly a scientist himself who now works in renovation in the same building. Genuinely interested in Lola but aware of her preoccupation with work, he connects with her where their lives intersect.

When faced with sudden change, Lola is forced outside the imperceptible realm of her studies, where she finally begins to piece together what she had only imagined or theorized. As much as she seeks to draw connections, there are unexpected variables in the world that maintain a certain degree of undifferentiated chaos.
